The BI Stack Image

I wanted to bring this up because I was quite proud of the fact that our visual representation of the business intelligence stack is the number 1 Google image search item. Seriously, do a search on "BI Stack" in Google and click on the first image that appears. We even beat out the Microsoft BI Burger. Dundas Dashboard Feedback Post

I've created this post so you can provide your feedback on the Dundas Dashboard product. If you have specific technical questions, I recommend checking out the Dundas support site. Anyways, looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say. Keywords: Dundas Dashboad, Product Features

Article - Dashboard Creation: The Key Players and Collaboration Needed for Success

I wrote this article a while back for TDWI BI Journal (First Quarter 2009, Volume 14, Number 1) on building dashboards (registration is required).  Another version was later posted on Dashboard Insight.  In short, it was an article talking about who should be involved in the dashboard creation process and discussed in detail the work flow.  The article was based on the experiences I had in developing custom dashboard solutions for various customers during my time as a Business Intelligence consultant.  The work flow was so effective that Dundas Dashboard implements it and takes it to another level. I was very pleased to hear that Dundas was nominated for the Best of TechEd 2010 in the BI category. Suffice to say that my colleagues and I were ecstatic to find out that we won!!! It was nice to be able to be there in person to accept the award. We worked really hard in making this product and it has truly paid off. You can find out more about the award in our press release. DM Radio - The Last Mile: Data Visualization in a Mashed-Up World

I was invited to participate in a discussion on mashups on DM Radio (registration is needed).  It was an interesting conversation that raised the question "are mashups truly accessible to the average business user?"...

Article - The Art of Dashboarding

I wrote an article on the art of dashboarding a while back on Dashboard Insight.  It aims to aid people who have been tasked with designing dashboards but might not be sure how to start.  Hopefully, this will get you going!  Do you have any tips you would like to share, as well?  If so, post a tip! Andrew Brust talks about Dundas Dashboard at TechEd

Andrew Brust, a respected speaker on Microsoft technologies, gave a presentation on the Microsoft BI stack in New Orleans at TechEd 2010.  It provided great insight on the Microsoft BI products and some of the vendors that leverage these technologies.  One of the vendors he mentions is Dundas and it's great for those looking for a neutral perspective on Dundas Dashboard.  Andrew starts his talk on Dundas Dashboard around the 48th minute; however, I strongly recommend viewing the entire video as it is very informative.  Enjoy!
